Arrival at Sjoa Rafting AS in the afternoon/evening. Here you will be accommodated in pleasant rooms of a simple standard. It is possible to pre-order a two-course dinner, for NOK. 325,- per person, served at 19.00 and must be booked no later than the day before you come to us.
The hot tub will be warm from 19.00 to 23.00 and you can arrange a time to use this on arrival.
After a good night’s sleep, breakfast is served in our dining hall at 09.00. Breakfast is a buffet consisting of a selection of bread and rolls, cold cuts, yoghurt and cereal.
At 10.00 the white water rafting trip starts. We then transport you 11 km up Heidal, then you raft back to the camp on Sjoa’s best stretch. On arrival at the camp, you can enjoy a hot shower, before pictures from the trip are shown in the bar. If you want a hot lunch before departure, it is possible to buy this for NOK. 180,- per person.
The basic package for those who want accommodation in addition to explore Sjoa’s best stretch with a short river rafting trip. The package includes an overnight stay in a room, a breakfast and a 3-hour white water rafting trip on Sjoa as well as a dip in the hot tub.

Requirements for participants:
Rafting and other activities in Sjoa offer a lot of speed and excitement, and it is therefore extremely important to make sure that everything is in order and that safety is always put first. For you to be completely safe during the fun, there are requirements for you who participate in our trips.
Participants must:
- not suffer from diseases that can be caused by stress or cold water
- be able to swim
- not be under the influence of intoxicants or narcotics
Participants should bring:
- Wool or super underwear
- Wool socks
- Towel (can be rented)
- Sleeping pad and sleeping bag for overnight stay in lavvu
- Headlamp

- Approved helmet
- Life jacket (rafting)
- Wetsuit (Long John)
- Neoprene wet jacket
- Wet shoes in neoprene
