Wake up to the sound of trickling water! A good night’s sleep is all you need to explore and enjoy the many wonderful experiences at Sjoa Rafting AS. We offer comfortable accommodation adapted to your needs, regardless of whether you arrive as a family, with a group of friends, as part of a company event or on your own.<\/p>\n

In the camp we have cozy little log cabins, dormitories with toilets and rooms of different sizes, lavvus with wooden floors and the option of wood burning so that you can decide both the level of comfort and privacy.<\/p>\n

There are also many evening activities inside the camp. You can, among other things, make use of our hot tubs right next to the river and the Sjoa Riverside Bar, play pentathlon or table football with other guests in the bar. Or enjoy the sunset over Heidal from the shore of Sjoa.<\/p>\n

For guests who want accommodation under a roof, we have 5 very simple log cabins available. The cabins have 2, 4, 6, 6 and 8 beds. The cabins are simple one-room log cabins without running water, so the sanitary building located centrally in the area is used here.<\/p>\n

We also have a large, high-standard cabin for 7 people with a kitchenette, bathroom and toilet and 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. The cabins is approx. 60m2. \u200bThe dormitory is centrally located in the camp. The house has a simple standard, but nevertheless a comfortable standard, with a good and pleasant atmosphere. The dormitory is well suited for larger groups who want to stay together. Most rooms are suitable for 6-8 people, two of them are double rooms.<\/p>\n

If capacity is available and by agreement, of course fewer people can stay in one room, and we never mix guests from different groups in the rooms.<\/p>\n

There are two toilets in the dormitory, these can be found in the hallway outside the rooms. Lavvu<\/h3>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]\n

\u200b\u200b<\/span>Sjoa Rafting AS has many spacious lavvus (fits 18 people) around the camp and on an island in Sjoa river, just outside the camp. Explore the island via a suspension bridge from the camp.<\/p>\n

A stay in lavvu is a special experience and in many ways part of authentic camp life where you feel close to nature and close to the people you travel with. The lavvus are spacious and perfect for larger groups. They are equipped with wooden floors and a small wood stove for heating. Outside the lavvu, you have your own firepit for evening \u201chygge\u201d, where you can also cook simple meals. There is a tarpaulin over the campfire, so you stay dry regardless of the weather.<\/p>\n

And nothing beats the experience of gathering around an open fire after a long day of exciting experiences at Sjoa Rafting AS.<\/p>\n

All you need to remember is to bring a sleeping bag and sleeping mat. If you want to travel light, you can rent this from us.<\/p>\n

Welcome to our idyllic and adventurous camp<\/span> at Sjoa<\/h2>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.24.0″ _module_preset=”default” width=”100%” max_width=”100%” module_alignment=”center” global_colors_info=”{}”]\n

You will find our camp as an oasis on the banks of Sjoa. Parts of the river Sjoa run through our camp, and we are the only river rafting company in the area with this unique location, right by the river.<\/p>\n

Most of our white water rafting trips end in an eddie in the middle of the camp. You can go straight to the showers or the hot tub and avoid a trip on the bus with wet clothes. Transport is reduced to a minimum, you can therefore make the most of your time here and spend it on much more exciting things.<\/p>\n

Inside the activity rich camp is an idyllic pond, where guests can fish for trout or paddle canoe. Explore the Wilderness camp located on its own island, which you reach via a suspension bridge. In the camp there are lavvus, a dormitory and log cabins.<\/p>\n

Meals are served in our beautiful large timber dining hall, decorated in the authentic style of the area. The large room is dominated by an open fireplace that creates a very special cozy atmosphere.<\/p>\n

We have a large firepit place under roof, hot tubs and Gudbrandsdalen’s most affordable rafting bar where you can enjoy meeting other guests, listening to music and challenging others to a game of foosball.<\/p>\n

The camp has all necessary and modern facilities: changing rooms, showers, toilets, large dining hall, meeting room, accommodation, firepits, hot tubs, football pitch and more. There is also a small guest kitchen where you can prepare your own meals.
