We start at the camp, where we gather to distribute the necessary equipment and go through the day’s plan. Then, we transport you by bus up to Heidalen, where the adventure truly begins. Before we jump onto the river, we go through a thorough safety briefing and teach you everything about paddling techniques, commands, and how to work as a team in the raft.<\/p>\n

The first four kilometers provide a soft start, with the river flowing calmly, giving us time to get to know each other and the technique. On this stretch, you can enjoy the view of Sjoa’s clear, green glacier water while learning to master paddling.<\/p>\n

Once we have control of the technique, the exciting rapids await! Get ready for an adrenaline rush as we navigate through challenges like the Gulf Stream, Haystacks, and Beer machine. These rapids offer laughter, excitement, and a good dose of action. After approximately 11 kilometers of speed and fun, we end the trip by paddling straight into our camp in Nedre Heidal.<\/p>\n

After the trip, you can enjoy a warm shower, and as the perfect finishing touch, we invite you to jump into our cozy, heated hot tub<\/a> \u2013 perfectly placed right by the riverbank. Here, you can lean back, relax, and enjoy the view of the roaring river while warming up again.
